Company Formation and Legal Services for Businesses

Company Formation

There are many reasons to form a corporation or a limited liability company. Any small business should consider the legal and tax implications of the type of corporation that they choose. We can help you analyze your business needs and choose the type of corporation for your company. We can also help with key contract drafting and interpretation and help advise you about your legal risks and strategies to contain that risk.

Our lead attorney in this area, Tammy Gattis, served as Assistant General Counsel for the Arkansas Secretary of State for six years and was legal counsel for the business office. The Office of the Secretary of State is where business entity filings (such as corporations and LLCs) and UCC Article 9 filings are maintained. Ms. Gattis was also in charge of lobbying the Arkansas Legislature regarding changes and improvements to State laws governing business formation and UCC filings.
